Web & Email Hosting (legacy)

Migrations: Legacy Hosting consolidation to R11

Ended
Began
Maintenance Planned

G’day,

We’re in the process of consolidating our remaining legacy/grandfathered Hosting services down to a single machine, R11, in order to reduce power consumption, resource usage and ever-increasing licensing costs.

This has involved exporting, transferring and restoring all accounts on Web Hosting and DNS Hosting servers across to the remaining Hosting server. Updates to DNS Zones are then made automatically to reflect the change. If you access emails, you need to use mail.example.com and webmail.example.com (where example.com is replaced with your domain sans-www) instead of the server name, where you can.

Please get in touch with our team if you need assistance with emails, website maintenance or anything else. Before carrying out these upgrades, we completed PHP 7.4 -> 8.1 and MariaDB 10.3 -> 10.6 upgrades to ensure we had covered off compatibility checks before going through the migration process. This led to some websites needing remedial work to cater to PHP 8 and MariaDB 10.6 (utf8mb4 etc) which we carried out at no charge.

We expect to be completed this afternoon and from there will be incrementally re-syncing to catch emails and content sent/received/stored during the transitional phase. Thank you for your patience!

Cheers,
LEOPARD.host
