Some templates have been adjusted within the SpamAssassin part/phase of the filtration processing flow.

We have also performed minor system patching (7.3-3 to 7.3-8). Performance is now stable again, the same as the current open-source Spam/Virus Filtering platform has been for the past 2 years since deployment.

This issue arose similar to a plane crash - the swiss cheese holes lined up with a mail surge. Between the resource doubling and the minor patching performed, we anticipate this to keep mail flow stable.

From here, further expansion would be in the form of additional cluster members.

G’day,

Following an increase to average mail processing times during peak periods, we have tripled the CPU & doubled RAM available to all nodes in our filtering cluster. This means improved filtering times and less queueing. :-)
