All guest-level upgrades and reboots have been successfully completed.
Later in the year, we’ll be upgrading MariaDB from 10.6.x to 10.11.x.
We’ll conduct guest-level (VM) upgrades & reboots Sunday night, now that hypervisor upgrades are complete.
This will involve kernel and other package upgrades, and then a quick reboot for each VM & nameserver.
All hypervisor upgrades have been completed, with all guests returned to normal service.
We’re starting work now (midnight) and will update this advisory shortly.
G’day,
Following successful testing, we’ll be performing sub-major upgrades to all production hypervisors. If assistance is required, we have smart-hands on-site 24/7/365 who can assist should OOB be insufficient to recover.
A single node at a time: guests will be powered off softly, the node upgraded to the new sub-major versions & rebooted, and then only once testing is successful guests will be started up gradually & returned to service.
Please let us know if you’ve any queries or concerns about these works.
Cheers,
Merlot Digital
