We’ve installed a new Dell server for the below systems, and will be live migrating to it.
- Internet Radio
- Corporate Sites
- Anti-Spam Filters
- Corporate Mail/etc
This machine has been installed, updated, configured and provisioned already - from here, there is just minor work remaining until we can start to live migrate workloads across to it from the older Dell server.
Due to the transition being made possible by live migration, we expect only milliseconds of downtime.
Upgrading to this machine brings some fantastic benefits to our corporate, radio & mail workloads:
- Intel Xeon Gold CPUs
- NVMe RAID1 for hypervisor
- SAS SSD RAID10 for guest storage
- GPU for Corporate AI/LLM development
