We’ll be performing minor upgrades to our Internet Routers’ firmware, including to their bootloader versions.

There should not be any impact, despite the dual-reboots required to enact upgrades, thanks to VRRP+iBGP.

Impact, if any, should be limited to tiny routing blip/s. We’ll update the event as works progress throughout.

Once the upgrades are completed OK on Router 1, we will then perform the upgrades on Router 2.
If there is a failure/rollback/problem on R1 we will revert/etc, and not upgrade R2 whatsoever.

No action is required from any clients, as this is network-level maintenance work.
