G’day,
Following successful testing, we’ll be performing minor upgrades to all production hypervisors. If assistance is required, we have smart-hands on-site 24/7/365 who can assist should OOB be insufficient to recover.
A single node at a time: guests will be powered off softly, the node upgraded to the new versions & rebooted, and then only once testing is successful guests will be started up gradually & returned to service.
Note: Ordinarily, we perform sub-major upgrades to the hypervisors - however, there’s been a reduced cadence of sub-major upgrades and we’d like to upgrade all software packages to current versions - primarily to bring the latest kernel into runtime (removing the live-patched delta). Debian will be sub-major upgraded.
Please let us know if you’ve any queries or concerns about these works.
Cheers,
Merlot Digital
