Hi there,
Following the retirement of some old Dell Cloud infrastructure, we’ll be relocating its Intel Data Centre SSDs to our Corporate and Internet Radio Infrastructure to expand storage pools for current and future usage.
This will involve cross-cluster Migrations of some Filtering and EOL Hosting VMs, followed by the power-down of the gaining infrastructure to facilitate installation of the Solid State Drives (SSDs).
From there the existing RAID storage pools will be expanded, and new pools created to segregate data.
Impact shouldn’t be extensive though there’s always a chance of something going awry despite efforts.
