Optical fibres via redundant pathways have been delivered for the Internet Exchange Points (IXPs).

Following on-site configuration, we will be scheduling turn-up calls for both services to activate.
That will allow optimised WAN routing to other networks peering on the same IXPs as us.

Whereas the fabric ports will remain dormant unless required in emergencies.

Major Works progress: 7 items out of 11~ have been completed.

The 2nd Backup Server arrived at the Data Centre last night. Final disk & assembly orders now underway.
As part of this process, we’ve secured a new vendor who will deliver to metro DCs in Sydney same-day.

We’re expecting to have the 1st Backup Server (Bare Metal Restore) live this week/weekend.
